We are located in historic Mount Vernon, in the rolling farmland of north central Ohio. Our retail shop features Dancing Bee products that are made from scratch right in our soap studio in the back. The shop features a carefully curated selection of local, handmade, or fair trade items. 

 

Jami, the owner, loves making natural products that are nourishing for the skin as well as the spirit. She started making soap in 1999, and knew she could never go back to the harsh, drying commercial detergent-based "soaps."  Bathing is a whole new experience when your skin does not feel dry and tight after a shower. Natural soaps scented with only essential oils or plant-based fragrance oils are much more gentle on sensitive skin. 

We make all of our products from scratch, using pure ingredients like olive oil, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, and pure essential oils. All palm oil is certified organic and sustainable. We use local honey and herbs from our gardens.
